San Francisco has a population of twenty-five Kindred, ruled by the Invictus Prince Michel Dufresne since the 1906 earthquake.

South Bay has around thirty-five vampires ruled over by the Prince of San Jose, an Invictus member and childe of Michel who established himself in the city in the 1950s. Soon after claiming his territory, he showed an alarming degree of liberalism in forming a Primogen with considerable power and influence, putting himself at odds with his sire but earning him a great deal of loyalty from the Kindred of the area. Enmity between the two has only increased since the tech boom made San Jose into the largest city on the bay.

East Bay is home to another thirty vampires, broken into small warring Carthian factions from the highly intellectual socialist coteries of Berkeley to the street gangs of Oakland. A small contingent of Muslim Lancea Sanctum members in Fremont and a cabal of Circle of the Crone adherents based out of Berkeley are the only sizeable contingents of non-Carthians. The small, wealthy city of Piedmont in the center of Oakland is home to the former Prince of the region, another childe of Michel, who was ousted in the 1960s.

North Bay isn't urbanized enough to sport a significant concentration of Kindred, but rumors circulate about elder vampires on large estates in Wine Country ruling the surrounding villages like feudal lords during the dark hours of the night.
