Jeremy Keegan
From Gothpoodle
Wolf-Blooded Law Clerk
Jeremy is Kelly's husband, Hugh's son, brother to Nora and Hugh Jr, and father to Kayla (14). He works as a law clerk at the Hall of Justice.
Description
An unassuming Caucasian man in his mid-30s with rumpled black hair, mustache, and goatee and dark gray eyes. He wears dark slacks, white shirts, and gray wool sweaters on cold days. He favors sneakers and wears his wedding ring and an expensive watch (a gift from his father on graduation). He has three parallel scars on his back from when his brother went through his First Change.
Storytelling Hints
Jeremy is a bitter, resentful man with a deep fear of his own inferiority. He works hard in order to prove to himself that he is good at what he does, but always feels that being a clerk isn't worth as much as being a practicing attorney, even though the judge he works for values him highly and others respect his competence. He doesn't really love his wife, though he is fond of her and is attracted to her. He does love his daughter and would sacrifice his family's interests to help her.

Background
Jeremy has always lived with a fair amount of resentment of the rest of his family. His father has always favored his younger brother, because he Changed, and his sister has always been successful, while he has always felt a disappointment, always in the background, ignored. He did well enough in school, but not as well as Nora, and has established himself as a valued professional, though in the unglamorous position of a law clerk. He was bullied by his father into marriage solely to gain his pack another Uratha. His wife's time is consumed by her Uratha duties and so he has had to raise their child mostly by himself. He does what he can for the family as a whole, but resents it for what little he feels he gets in return. While he loves his daughter, he fears that she will change and he'll be left, once again, in the shadow. He suffers from bouts of depression and has contemplated suicide more than once. Should she change, he would likely go through with it. His only close friend is Tate, his first cousin, and the two of them eat lunch together every day and do things on the weekends with their kids.
