Plot

Larios approaches Randal Gray with an obscene offer to buy out his 33% of Aurelian Exploration with an agreement to use his lawyers to combat any legal action on Tolliver's part.

Case Against Tolliver

• Setup: Eva drives Jean to the airport, Nicole is dropped off by stretch humvee driven by a hunky blonde chauffeur. Car follows her when she leaves.

Dinner Meeting

• Location: Tolliver's place? (Friday Night)
• Participants: Tolliver, Angelina
• Setup: Angelina shows up without Larios, wants to buy in personally. All a ploy to get another night with Tolliver to set up the frame.

New Stalker

• Location: Deirdre's apartment (Late Friday Night)
• Participants: Deirdre, Liam
• Setup: Deirdre catches Liam watching her, may mistake him as a fan.

Questions

• Location: Daisy's shop (Saturday Morning)
• Participants: Daisy, Tina, FBI guy
• Setup: Daisy comes in to find an FBI guy questioning Tina about her and the customers. Asks her downtown to answer more questions if Daisy complains.

Search Warrant

• Location: Tolliver's house (Saturday Afternoon)
• Participants: Tolliver, Tracy Felton, cops
• Setup: Randal Gray's murder is announced in the morning. Felton shows up to ask Tolliver downtown for questioning and to execute a search warrant.

After Hours

• Location: Daisy's shop (Saturday Night)
• Participants: Mr. Kwan, Daisy
• Setup: Kwan comes to her shop late, looking for rare herbs, seemingly alarmed.

Arrest

• Location: Tolliver's house (Sunday Morning)
• Participants: Tolliver, Felton, cops
• Setup: Felton shows up to arrest Tolliver for the murder of Randal Gray.

Press Conference

• Location: TV at Tolliver's house (Tuesday Night)
• Participants: George Soto, Kim Anderson
• Setup: Replay of his press conference yesterday where he stated Tolliver's arrest.

Tango with the Sex Goddesss

• Location: Asian Fusion restaurant (Tuesday Night)
• Participants: Eva, Daisy, Vicki Raith
• Setup: Vicki is vague at first, asking if Eva requires recompense for what happened to her son. Then she re-visits the agreement for them not to see each other again. She fishes for whether they know where she is. She tries to facilitate talking through whammies and social combat.

Stalker (Part Two)

• Location: Deirdre's apartment (Tuesday Night)
• Participants: Deirdre, Liam
• Setup: Liam is waiting in her room when she gets home, a sword across his knees. He asks her why he shouldn't kill her.

Paparazzi (Part One)

• Location: Tolliver's house (Wednesday Morning)
• Participants: Tolliver, "the press"
• Setup: Tolliver is confronted with questions about the murder and his associations (particularly who Nicky is). Begin the extended social combat to ruin his reputation. Also, paparazzi will be following him around.

Office Visit

• Location: Eva's office (Thursday Morning)
• Participants: Eva, Vicki
• Setup: Vicki is in Eva's office and compels her to tell her where Nichole is.

The Case

• Location: Tolliver's house (Thursday Morning)
• Participants: Tolliver, Paul
• Setup: Tolliver's lawyer, Paul, goes over the case that the prosecution has on him.

Call from Max

• Location: Tolliver's cellphone (Thursday Afternoon)
• Participants: Tolliver, Max Raith
• Setup: Max asks Tolliver to return his daughter, threats ensue.

Messing with His Head

• Location: Solomon's apartment (Thursday Night)
• Participants: Solomon, Jean, Vicki
• Setup: Vicki shows up and whammies the two men to gain entrance, tells Jean that Tolliver is holding Nicki hostage and that his mother has lied to him about her, that Nicky can be saved if he truly loves her and they have sex, that him taking the risk will show the love is true. Solomon calls Eva after Jean storms out. Jean shows up at Eva's apartment demanding to know where Nicky is, accusing her of deceiving him, saying he can save her.

Media War

• Location: Tolliver's house (Friday Morning)
• Participants: Tolliver
• Setup: He also had follow-up interviews with the Examiner and Chronicle reporters that negate any damage they might have done (reference Nicky's trip to New Orleans with Tolliver's lawyer's son, that they haven't filed a restraining order, intimates about Tolliver's old world conservative values not having a place in liberal San Francisco where he is a legitimate business owner, concerned his 18-year-old daughter is staying in the house of an older man currently charged with murder who refuses to let him even talk to her on the phone). He elaborates more in the Bay Gossip (+8 social attack, Tolliver can tag STAND-UP GUY), referring to having to fly to New Orleans after Jean tried to rape his daughter, intimates that Tolliver is trying to protect his lawyer's son, claims to have evidence of the sex (her clothes), can't turn them over to the cops until his daughter testifies.

Solomon Update

• Location: Eva's phone (Friday Late Morning)
• Participants: Solomon, Eva
• Setup: Solomon calls to ask what's going on, he's seen the paper (and so has Jean). Jean listens in using cat form from the other room, if any mention is made of Nicky's mother being in danger, Jean goes to confront Max, Jeanette goes with him (to protect him).

Another Police Visit

• Location: Tolliver's house (Friday Afternoon)
• Participants: Tolliver, Nicky, two inspectors
• Setup: Two police inspectors come to talk with Nicky about the rape allegations and to make sure she isn't being intimidated or held against her will. Nicky's inability to lie means they figure out something is up. Eagle-eyed inspector notices the scratches. They take her to the station for further questioning.

Business Matters (Part 1)

• Time: Friday, March 18 (Afternoon)

The Rio office had a fire that morning which local firefighters are tentatively calling arson. The local manager is gone, his condo is empty and so are the payroll accounts. The workers at the Brazil mine are taking part in a work stoppage since their paychecks didn't clear.

The Legal Front

• Location: Tolliver's house (Friday Night)
• Participants: Paul, Tolliver
• Setup: Paul calls to inform Tolliver that all of the cameras en route were malfunctioning that night. On the plus side, Gray's lawyers confirm the sale of the shares was in progress, that the paperwork was drawn up and just being reviewed before being finalized.

Cat Fight

• Location: Armory (Friday Night)
• Participants: Jean, Max, Jeanette
• Setup: Jean will confront Max and demand he let Nicky's mother go. A fight will undoubtedly ensue. Journalists will get some pictures before the violence ensues, when Max's fear aura will drive them off before seeing too much supernatural.

Business Matters (Part 2)

• Time: Sunday, March 20 (Morning)

An expose is published in Peru regarding Tolliver's operation there. It alleges the use of underpaid foreign workers in order to undercut the local unions since 2007, as well as poisoning of the watershed by heap leaching (clean water accessing being a sensitive issue), and possible connections to the murder of a union organizer who tried to raise awareness of the situation in 2009.

Business Matters (Part 3)

• Time: Friday, March 25 (Evening)

An access tunnel collapses at one of Tolliver's mines in Chile. A dozen workers are trapped. There are parallels already being drawn to the Copiapo incident last summer. Several miners interviewed have attested to unsafe conditions.
