This pack was formed in 1957 by a young Japanese member of the Lodge of Hungry Ghosts, whose wolf-blooded parents had been interred during World War II. At first, it was just her and the weak locus that had developed in her great-grandfather's garden, but in time she attracted a couple other Uratha who lived in the area and were receptive to her unusual perspective on dealing with spirits and they were joined by her granddaughter. Now the pack claims the area of the Western Addition around Japantown and Fillmore where they often come into conflict with surrounding packs who don't agree with their relationship with spirits, though it is this relationship that allows them to withstand their disapproval. They also have good ties with the local vampires, hosts, and ghosts. In particular, they have a deal with a particularly powerful Azlu who controls one of the stronger loci in their domain, which irks a number of Uratha who are aware of the arrangement.

They control the Stone Garden and have Uprooted as their pack totem.
