Storytelling Hints
Dave is still very much the soldier and cop. He tends to watch people very carefully and has an eye for details. He is, by nature, suspicious but careful never to show it. While he and Takami work together quite a bit, their relationship is competitive. He doesn't like Kathy very much, frustrated by her opposition to fetishes and dismissive of her indigent lifestyle.

Background
Dave was an MP stationed in Japan, a firm believer in law and order, and so found himself able to adjust to his new life after his First Change easier than most. He saw his new mandate as much the same as his old one and understood the need for careful diplomacy and restraint advocated by his new lodge. When his tour of duty was done, he returned home to San Francisco and picked up where he left off. He is very respectful of Okasan and her skills, but is jealous of the attention she gives to her daughter and feels that she threatens his position as beta. He is the pack's investigator of crimes and violent occurrences within the territory and guards Okasan when she is dealing with particularly dangerous ghosts.
