Stone Garden
From Gothpoodle
Locus
The Stone Garden was constructed in 1912 as part of a small Shinto shrine that a Japanese carpenter built at his own expense, in order to practice his faith. When his wolf-blooded children were shipped off to internment camps thirty years later, the building came into the hands of a private citizen who had the shrine disassembled but kept the garden. After the war, the granddaughter of the former owner returned and began legal proceedings to get the property back. In the end, a settlement was reached and the young Uratha returned to reclaim the now dormant locus and rebuild the shrine. The locus centers on the central stone, where one is expected to sit, and covers the entire garden, much of the shrine, and an enclosed back porch of the house. It is controlled by the Circle of the Stone Garden.
