Michelle is Tess's niece. She is married to Tate and they have two children: John (17) and Amanda (14). She is Joshua's aunt, her sister Kim having been killed in the Castro War.
Description
Hishu
An athletic Caucasian woman in her early 40s with full-bodied red hair mid-length and loose, green eyes, and freckled skin. She wears tight-fitting jeans and t-shirts and heavy leather boots. In bad weather, she dons a denim jacket with an over-the-top fantasy Valkyrie on the back. She has a tattoo of two bloody wolf's paws on her left shoulder which she got after the Castro War. She doesn't use makeup or perfume.
Urhan
A red wolf with black-tipped muzzle and ears.
Storytelling Hints
Michelle is confident, frank, and takes command of any situation she is in with ease. She is not easily intimidated or manipulated. While she is loyal to her pack, she is more attached to some than others. She and Kelly are still very close and she has a lot of respect for Martin. She resents and dislikes Hugh and tends to have the same feelings towards Junior, though she pities him more for being a tool of his wife and father.

Background
Michelle went through her First Change young, at the age of 17, and was helped through it by her cousin, Robin. The two shared a close bond and both helped Kelly, and then Janice and Michelle's older sister Kim. The five of them dubbed themselves the Valkyries and were contenders to form their own pack once they gained a bit more experience. Everything was lost, though, when the Castro War started. First, Michelle's sister Kim was killed during the Predator King ambush and then, when Tess led the pack into battle against the Hellstroms, Robin was killed along with her father and Kelly's father. Disillusioned with Tess' leadership and grieving the death of her sister and her best friend, Michelle flew into the arms of Tate and ended up joining the downtown pack with Kelly after they tried and failed to get Janice to join them in forming the pack they had always intended to, but she was unwilling to abandon her siblings. The two friends have chafed under Hugh's rule but Michelle has established herself firmly as the pack beta and fully intends to take control once Hugh dies or she feels she could beat him in a challenge. She may come to that decision soon, as Hugh increasingly speaks of his son as his successor, much to her general rage and disbelief. She has forgiven Tess for the War, but Tess is now the one holding the grudge, refusing to talk to her because of her abandonment of the pack. She is more likely these days to blame Hugh for failing to back them up.
