A skinny Caucasian man in his late 40s with neat reddish-brown hair and beard, gray eyes, and pale skin. He wears expensive wool suits and a black leather trenchcoat, but has an aversion to hats and glasses.

Storytelling Hints
Walter puts more stock into the Oath than his packmates and was relieved when he wasn't forced to kill his daughter. He quietly took Gregory's abuse and demotion, biding his time. He is a wily and cunning creature and fully wants to see Oliver fail in the recovery of his daughter for a number of self-serving reasons, but will do his part competently in the recovery effort. Overall, he is a man of tremendous patience and deviousness.

Background
Walter was always a quiet boy with a keen mind and a knack for getting out of people what he wanted. When he changed under the new moon, he smiled inwardly for the validation of his rightful place in the world, fully understanding what was happening to him through his spying efforts. He served an important role in the pack, acting as scout, spy, and manipulator, but his efforts to supplant Edward as pack beta were destroyed when his daughter Flora was taken from him by his wife while in the grip of her first change. His failure to recover her made him omega for five years until Eddie changed. He has been slowly building up prestige again and waiting for an opportunity to push out one of those above him and sees it now with Oliver's troubles. He has managed to take over as the pack's ritemaster, a role Gregory had held prior, by maintaining a higher level of Harmony than the others.
