This Scottish Ivory Claw family came to San Francisco during the Gold Rush in order to find their fortune and claim a stake in the new city after being driven from the Highlands when their Lodge rites were discovered. They spent the rest of the century fighting with the Brotherhood of the Golden Mountain and the Silver Kings over the core of the city. They eventually claimed the area around Nob Hill and it wasn’t until they lost a challenge by Jiang of the Brotherhood that they stopped fighting with that pack over the border. The closest they came was after the Great Earthquake, when they almost managed to get Chinatown relocated to Hunters Point, but the gambit eventually failed. A more successful bid was against the Silver Kings in 1959, when they managed to get their primary locus razed and replaced with a parking lot, leaving the pack homeless for thirteen years. They have never had strong ties to the other Pure in the city, however, mostly because of their preoccupation with destroying it. The MacLellans are happy to rule over humanity, as is their birthright, and hunt the Forsaken at their leisure. Grand plans of bringing back Pangaea strike them as hopelessly niave.
