Eric is Damien's younger brother and Jack and Martin's brother-in-law. His wife, Robin, was killed in the Castro War. Their daughter, Daisy (19), is currently attending USF in the pre-med program. Eric works as a criminal psychiatrist at San Francisco General Hospital.
Description
A lithe Caucasian man in his late 30s with short salt-and-pepper hair and neatly clipped beard and mustache, gray eyes, and pale skin. He wears gray suits with starched white shirts, colorful ties his daughter buys him, and comfortable leather shoes. He has an expensive watch and still wears his wedding ring as well as a USF class ring. He carried a worn black leather laptop case on a shoulder strap.
Storytelling Hints
Eric is very dedicated to his profession, with an obsession which has outstripped his reasons for pursuing it. He used to write a lot about the psychology of the Uratha, but his lack of contact these days has put that on hold. Now he focuses on trying to figure out how to help people stop hurting each other. He is incredibly close to his daughter, almost obsessed, and she is pursuing a career in medicine mostly to make him proud of her. She is aware of his love of Nora and is angry at her for leading him on.

Background
Eric was just a child when his father was killed as a Bale Hound and accepted the false story he was given without question, so he never understood his older brother's anger until his brother spilled the truth during an argument over his affair with the much older Robin Keegan when he was in high school. His father's motivation for murder consumed him and, when he entered college shortly after marrying Kim, he focused on criminal psychology. His wife's murder at the hands of the Pure only added fuel to the fire of his obsession. He struggled hard to raise a daughter by himself while attending medical school but managed to do it. He keeps a distance from his family, only really speaking with his brother on a regular basis, and is extremely close to his daughter. A few years ago, he had an ill-advised affair with his brother-in-law Martin's wife Nora and it ended poorly when Eric tried to convince her to leave her husband. They've had little contact since then, though he is still deeply in love with her. He was a competitive fencer in college, the only activity that allowed him to get out of his head, and he's continued to pursue it, though not competitively, for the exercise and the respite. His daughter has followed in his footsteps in this, as well.
