Description
Hishu
A friendly-looking Chicano man in his late-20s with short black hair and sideburns, thin mustache, light brown eyes (almost amber), and medium skin tone. He wears a charro suit (traditional mariachi costume) in black and silver with a large sombrero when he is working, but wears a white button down shirt with string tie, black and silver vest, jeans, and black cowboy boots when he isn't. He has a healed scar from a knife wound on his left shoulder blade roughly stitched with catgut (Cat's Suture fetish). On his right lower arm is a tattoo of a long-stemmed rose and his initiation scar is over his heart. He generally has his guitar case with him.

Storytelling Hints
El Mariachi, as he was dubbed by the Norteños, is a friendly, easy-going young man with a love of music, drink, and women. He loves to live life and is a bit of a contrast to the hardened men which populate his pack. None of them, however, seem to begrudge him his good nature. Carlos loves a good story and has met with many of the local Uratha to pry out of them details of the city's history. This makes him one of the few concentrations of such knowledge. He is deeply respectful of his alpha and his uncle, loves his brother as deeply as he is loved, has a secret crush on Gabi which he cultivates in chivalric style by writing songs about her (without naming her, of course), and feels well-disposed towards the rest of the members. He feels bad about his uncle and makes a point to touch base with him and his pack periodically, to make sure they are alright.

Background
Carlos Zappetillo went through First Change three years after his brother and, at first, they both mistook it for a side-effect of peyote he had taken the previous week. Once it became clear this wasn't the case, Carlos got the same treatment as his brother: he was brought before Don Aguirre and told the truth of things. Unlike his brother, Carlos had no trouble accepting the truth and, with his brother's help, he integrated into the pack quickly. He easily entered the Lodge of the Rose a year after his brother and has been happy with his new life, though he secretly wishes he could have been a part of the Castro War and is a bit jealous that his cousin Maggie is there still fighting the good fight.
