Background
Shortly after Carl was taken, his fetch was approached by a waitress named Loretta he'd had a one-night stand with several months prior and told she was pregnant. Six months later he had a quickie Las Vegas marriage, a newborn son, and a job as a security guard at a casino. He was already becoming physically abusive towards his wife and he'd trading his gambling problem for a drinking one. He'd hang out with his old UFC buddies and get drunk after work more nights than not and their arguments usually ended with him hitting her.
