Background
Shortly after Carl was taken, his fetch was approached by a waitress named Loretta he'd had a one-night stand with several months prior and told she was pregnant. Six months later he had a quickie Las Vegas marriage, a newborn son, and a job as a security guard at a casino. He was already becoming physically abusive towards his wife and he'd trading his gambling problem for a drinking one. He'd hang out with his old UFC buddies and get drunk after work more nights than not and their arguments usually ended with him hitting her. He has been in trouble a couple of times at work at the Mirage and is likely to be fired again if there is another incident, which is really fine with him. He hates the job and would prefer to get back to sport fighting. The only hitch is his son, whom he feels a genuine sense of loyalty towards and doesn't want to grow up fatherless (his wife has threatened to move back to Memphis to live with her mother if they divorced).
