Description

Payback rarely appears, it is always felt as an overwhelming anger, raising bile in your throat and driving you to violence against your enemies. It communicates through messages written in blood. When it does appear, it looks like a gang-banger.

Storytelling Hints

Payback is a spirit of violent retribution, an embodiment of the principle that any slight, insult, or injury must be paid back tenfold. It gives its children the tools they need to hunt down those who have crossed them. It has no mercy and no self-restraint, requiring the blood of any who do not fear and respect it. It demands the same standards of its pack and denies them its gifts whenever they fail to live up to its standards.

Background

Payback was born of the gang violence that makes Hunters Point infamous. It fed from the vendettas and drove those it influenced to greater excesses of retribution. When the Double Rock locus soured, it became tainted as well and grew even more powerful and darker.
