Mask
A large woman, overweight but very muscular, with long, shaggy brown hair and deep, soulful brown eyes. She wears a heavy winter coat at all times.
Storytelling Hints
Ursula's fear of her keeper has cooled but she still thinks that hiding is the most reasonable approach. She has a warm heart and is happy to give anyone who needs a place to stay a warm room and a meal. She can't stand people to be hungry and insists on feeding them. Many mistakenly think her naive or an unsophisticated homebody, but this isn't accurate. While she started as a housewife, she now has the honed instincts of a hunter and years of training in the court of deception and intrigue. She cultivates the image she has in order to keep people off-guard, but it surprisingly adept at manipulation and reading people.

Background
Mortal Life
Jane Parsons was a middle-aged housewife living an uneventful life in the suburbs with a flair for cooking and an all too common tendency to eat when unhappy, which was frequent when she was taken as her husband was going through the stereotypical crisis and, she suspected, sleeping with his secretary when he claimed to be working late. When a call to his office didn't get an answer, she got a tub of ice cream from the freezer and retreated to her room to cry in private, so the children wouldn't hear. While indulging, the antique full-length mirror she had purchased a few weeks previously suddenly revealed a large wooden hall with a long table laid with a sumptuous feast. Convinced she must be dreaming, she stepped through and became the prisoner of the Bear-Lord who watched her from the other side.
Durance
She remembers very little of her life in Faerie, except that it was lived in a bestial indulgence of appetites. Food, sex, and primal satisfaction. She was a slave to the will of her powerful lord but, one day, something reminded her of her children and she fled, trying to find her way back to the mirror. Her lord hunted her and she was caught, but she tried again, and again, until finally she found a way out.
Changeling Life
She returned to find her fetch struggling to support her children while her now ex-husband enjoyed his new girlfriend. Several years had passed and she agonized over what to do while living in constant fear that her lord would find her again. She avoided mirrors and even reflective surfaces, living on the street, until a Blackbird Bishop (Gary's mentor) found her and brought her into the freehold. The Winter Court recruited her easily and her fear of her Keeper convinced her not to try and replace her fetch. Instead, she sent money anonymously claiming to be a long lost cousin. She met with her family on a couple of occasions but it was too painful and she stopped trying to contact them, instead watching them from afar. With the help of other members of the court, she built the Winter Hearth Inn, connecting it to a rundown motel owned by a dead woman, "Doris Tarkowski", whose identity she stole. When the old Winter Queen disappeared, Ursula had been her named heir for twenty years.
