Lesser Jaggling, Nature Spirit, Tree Choir, Pack Totem

Golden Gate Park is pack totem of the Tree-Speakers.

Description

It appears as an enormous oak tree, worn with age but still strong.

Storytelling Hints

Golden Gate Park has had a long, fruitful relationship with the Uratha and the urban members of its choir are well-disposed towards them (they call them caretakers). It is on the outs with much of the rest of its choir and is considered a traitor by the Court of the Bay.

Background

Golden Gate Park began as a spirit of urban trees, who thrive under the tending of human hands, eventually becoming the spirit of the park itself. It is the spirit of the most ancient trees in the Outside Lands whom the Phelans originally made their pact with when they came out during the creation of the Park. It is highly influential within its choir and is deferred to by all of the gaffling trees of the park, as well as most of the plants and animals of that rank. It’s patronage has been a huge boon to the pack over the years. It gifts its children with the ability to listen to the trees and to withstand any hardship.
