Background

Java was born amidst the miners and laborers of the young city but has grown out of its working-class roots to be the symbol of everybody's favorite legal stimulant. It now hangs out in coffee shops, diners, break rooms, and any place else that coffee is enjoyed. Since the advent of the ubiquitous Starbucks and similar coffee chains, it has had a rich pool of Essence to draw from in concentrated locations. It is edging its way up to the status of Jaggling on a steady diet of java motes and rich, caffeinated Essence.
