Storytelling Hints

High is only interested in the proliferation and use of drugs. It hangs around addicts for the Essence, but it finds first time users as part of its broader plans. As soon as they put themselves within its domain, High intensifies the experience and lures them back for more. Not a spirit of addiction, per se, it certainly encourages it in practice. It tends to hang out at the Shooters' Gallery.

Background

Less a spirit of drugs themselves and more of their effects, High has been kicking around the city since the opium dens in the Barbary Coast days. It spent much of the sixties in the area of Haight-Ashbury but these days can be found as far afield as the Tenderloin and the northern bits of the Mission where many of the city’s illegal drugs are sold.
