The Silicon Court is composed mostly of spirits of data, computers, and electricity, all of whom are tied to the telecommunications networks of the world. It is not bound to a specific location, existing across the globe, with its Emperor holding virtual court in cyberspace. The court is dedicated to the harvesting of Essence through these networks, particularly through the Internet, and thus to the ubiquitousness of computer technology. As the virtual world grows more robust, more and more abstract spirits are being born and trapped there, forced to use their influences to draw the Essence they need into their prison. This is all according to the plan of the Silicon Empress, who is actually an idigam driven to create a new world to replace the one it lost when it was imprisoned.
