This protectorate is formed of members of an extended family of Ivory Talons whose bloodline stretched back to Basque but who most recently hailed from the Philippines. Its members first came to America in the 1960s and settled in San Francisco but have quickly spread throughout the Bay Area so that it now consists of five packs. The protectorate has little to do with the other Pure in the area, preferring its own company and philosophy. It is as concerned with blood purity and tradition as any Ivory Claws, but feel that the best tools should always be used, regardless of origin, and so have become rather adept at using technology and rich through investment of their familial wealth. They also highly value Purity and refuse to compromise it in order to manage short-term gains in the war against the Forsaken. They are highly honorable, refuse to kill another Uratha except under the most extreme circumstances, and only kill humans when necessary. They also tend to be racist, deeply conservative, and viciously territorial.

The protectorate is controlled by Anciano Rey ("Elder King"), the powerful ancestor spirit of the bloodline, who is served by the Hermanos de la Sangre pack in Contra Costa. All members belong to the Blood of Kings lodge.
