Edward is courteous yet taciturn and is generally conservative except where business is concerned. He’s had a fascination with technology since he was a boy and voraciously keeps up on new developments. He is also a perfectionist, which makes him a demanding employer, but is just as hard on himself as others. While he is dedicated to his sire, he is quite aware of his shortcomings and secretly thinks he is a poor choice for Prince.

Background

Born in Chinatown (1900), James was a wealthy businessman by the time he was 20 due to good judgement, dedication, and a sharp intellect. He had a family and a nice house in Pacific Heights, but it all disappeared when the stock market crashed. Despondent, he was on the verge of committing suicide when he was approached by James Fang, who offered to give him a second chance and even greater opportunities (1930). Edward abandoned his family, supporting them from afar until they forgot about him, and dedicated himself to his new position. He served for a mere ten years as paige before receiving his manumission (1940) and then built an empire apart from his sire and grandsire based on an uncanny ability to grasp and predict new business opportunities. By the 80s, he was deeply invested in electronics and computers and by the turn of the century, he had amassed an incredible fortune. He was asked by Charles and James to join their dynasty and he happily accepted, pooling his wealth with theirs. Since Charles’ eclipse, he has become Seneschal (2000) and been granted his title of tribute.

Recent Events

The Viscount’s primary vice is his love of beautiful women, with the object of his current lust being his paige, Jennifer, who was chosen as much for her attractiveness and sexual receptiveness as her knowledge of international law. They are involved in a torrid love affair which is hurting his otherwise professional reputation among the other Invictus. Still, the growing instability of his sire has led to many courting his favor, with an eye to the future.
