Special Security Directorate (SSD)

• Established at the same time as DHS, bringing together groups under a number of agencies. All members remain part of their constituent group but follow the orders of the Director rather than reporting through their local command structure. The biggest members:
  • FBI: Classified Operations Division (1938, "C.O.D.", "Clod")
  • CIA: Special Directorate (1949, "Spec D", "D5")
  • SS: Special Protection Unit (1906, "S.P.U.")
• Director is Issac Harper, former Special Advisor to the President.
• Considers members of Accorded Nations to not be U.S. Citizens and "unlawful combatants", as specified in a classified Presidential Directive.
