Identity
Martin Larios legally doesn't exist. There is no paperwork on him at all. He owns Porta Aurea through a regularly changed alias with rock-solid paperwork that he has access to, but he never uses it. He keeps thralls in positions of power in the second tier who can enact his will for him. He never shows his face to anyone at his companies but his thralls. He meets them at a series of expensive condos he owns throughout the city which he uses only for these meetings. Otherwise, they are occupied by thrall guards, who live there and ensure their security when not on duty. They are also magically protected. His home on Nob Hill isn't known to anybody but INSERT PERSONAL ASSISTANT HERE and its staff, who are all vampires.
Red Court
Conde (Count) Martín Larios Acevedo is a well-placed member of Red Court nobility, having earned his title with his success in San Francisco and his now international banking interests. His companies support the activities of the Red Court primarily through smuggling and funding.
Porta Aurea Holdings
Larios owns all of the shares of this holding company, which in turn holdings controlling interests in a score of other holding companies, which themselves own most or all of the shares of a hundred or more smaller companies, banks, and investment firms. Some of the notable holdings are: Niantic Financial Holdings (banking and investments, oldest, originally Yerba Buena Bank), Golden Gate Imports (hides smuggling of humans, antiquities, and contraband), Museum of Mesoamerican History (in SOMA, run by Meriam Trimble), Millennium Digital Technologies (specializing in wire-tapping), Yerba Buena Pharmaceuticals (local drug manufacturing) and Crimson Biomedical Research (body disposal). Nothing in the first two tiers are publicly traded and, thus, there are few, if any, public records about their activities. The only company with Larios' actual name on it is NFH, and only if you dig far enough into the corporate history to get to the original bank.
