Storytelling Hints
The WELL is a strong believer in community and so will often go to extreme ends to get people talking, up to and including pulling them into its virtual Shadow presence (though it has no means to return them). Generally, though, it restricts itself to the use of its other numina and acts as a sort of messenger from the Silicon Court.

Background
The Whole Earth 'Lectronic Link is one of the oldest continuously operating online communities in existence and its spirit is thus one of the oldest virtual location spirits in the world. As such, it is a meeting place for data spirits and other members of the Silicon Court in the Bay Area. Rumors persist that even the Silicon Emperor is said to appear there from time to time. The WELL has a strong sense of community and isn't judgmental, providing itself as a place for people to meet and communicate.
