Background
Yin spent her childhood on her Grandfather Jiang's knee listening to his stories, of the city and the Uratha. When she changed shortly after starting college, she took her duties to the family and the People very seriously. With the help of her family, she juggled her education and her pack duties for years until getting her Masters degree in history. Shortly after graduation, she was introduced to the Devotees and soon became enamored of their alpha. When Grandfather Jiang gently pressured her to marry into the Hong Kong immigrants to cement their bond with the Protectorate, she assented immediately and married John's older brother Peter. She also immediately joined the pack's lodge and threw herself completely into its pursuits. She has has three children, the youngest of whom, Susan, changed a couple of years ago and has been accepted into the pack. She is very happy with her life and would fight to the death to protect her family and pack. In addition to her pack duties, she teaches a course on Chinese-American history at SFU.
