Takami is Hirumi's granddaughter. Her father is a prominent businessman in Japantown.

Description

Hishu

A slender, athletic Japanese woman in her early 30s with short spiky black hair and expressive brown eyes. She wears a jade green blouse, loose tan slacks, black sneakers, and carries a small black backpack containing her katana and wakisashi, a black long-sleeves t-shirt, jeans, and black mask. She often wears a black greatcoat concealing her wakisashi, if expecting trouble. She wears a small bronze mirror on a cord around her left wrist.

Background

Takami grew up very proud of her culture but upset at the popularized version in vogue. She wanted to know the real stories behind samurai, ninja, and yakuza. Her grandmother fully supported her and she went to Berkeley to major in Japanese history. Shortly after gaining her undergraduate degree, though, she went through her first change. Rather than doing so under the gibbous moon, as seemed to suit her inclinations, she was an irraka. However, she took this as a sign and abandoned her study of history in order to train to become a ninja. She now takes care of patrolling the territory and checking in on the various allies of the pack.
