The Bad House has a long and disturbing history (see [[Torture Room]]) which has created a dark, fearsome spirit. The Bad House feeds off of its residents, encouraging their darkest urges and reaping the bounty. In the spirit world, it is a trap for spirits drawn to its locus, preventing them from escaping and feeding off of them. Over the years, it has consumed spirits of pain, rape, murder, violence, addiction, despair, and practically every other negative emotion and concept, but the constant thread throughout its existence has been fear. Since its latest owner died, it has been desperate to attract new people. [[Liberal Anxiety]] found it and offered it the Essence and victims it craved for its cooperation.
