The pack known simply as the Hunters is a street gang which has prowled the neighborhood of Hunters Point and Bayview since the 50s. It was founded by a contingent of the tribe unwilling to retreat into the mountains to the south as the city grew. Working out of the small bit of natural land left to them, Bayview Park, they acclimated themselves to the gang culture which settled into the neighborhood and interbred with the locals so that now the pack is predominantly black rather than Hispanic, like their cousins to the south. They rule their territory with an iron fist and their reputation has made it such that no Uratha has ever tried to cross the 280 or 101 into their vast domain.
