The Iron Dragons are the second oldest Forsaken pack in the city, having broken off from the Mist Walkers just after the first World War. The functions of the two packs highlight the difference in ideology which caused the schism. While the Mist Walkers focus on the natural aspects of the city, the predominantly Iron Master Dragons are concerned mostly with the world of humanity. They act as liaisons to the Court of the Phoenix and protect the bastions of power (political, economic, and spiritual) from influence from the spirit world and attacks by the Pure. Their territory is in the heart of the city and is bordered on the south by the Servants of the Great Fire, with whom they have regular conflict.
