==Background==
Dave was an MP stationed in Japan, a firm believer in law and order, and so found himself able to adjust to his new life after his First Change easier than most. He saw his new mandate as much the same as his old one and understood the need for careful diplomacy and restraint advocated by his new lodge. When his tour of duty was done, he returned home to San Francisco and picked up where he left off. He is very respectful of Okasan and her skills, but is jealous of the attention she gives to her daughter and feels that she threatens his position as beta. He is the pack's investigator of crimes and violent occurrences within the territory and guards Okasan when she is dealing with particularly dangerous ghosts.
