Notes

A knight whose spirit was broken and faith shattered by the atrocities of the Crusades. When Cain approached him, he was receptive to his explanation of why God had allowed this to happen and agreed that the world needed to end, to free humanity from its suffering. He is the only of the core three to be a True Believer in Cain's cause. The Witch wants power and the Beast is just an animal, but the knight thinks he is doing the right thing by humankind. His real name is Sir Roger Corbet. His father was Roger le Corbet (a knight of the Normal Conquest) and he grew up in Caus Castle in Shropshire, England. His shield shows his father's device with the addition of a three-point argent label: two ravens proper on a gold shield with a bordure red engrailed.
