Rebecca was claimed by Gay Plague and was an elder of the Church of the Lighthouse. She was killed by DeAndre on Apr 4, 2007 and the spirit is now riding her corpse.

Description

A skinny Caucasian woman in her early 40s with short brown hair, brown eyes, and pale skin. She wears a light grey suit with a white blouse and comfortable shoes. She has on diamond post earrings (a gift from her former fiance), a silver and turquoise ring and matching pendant. When she speaks, she is very animated and has an intensity that many would call insane or fervored. She smells off, like someone sick, but human senses don’t pick it up because of the perfume she wears to mask it.

Storytelling Hints

She has an intense manner, that of a true believer, and is earnest and expressive. She stresses all the church has done for her and the fear and loneliness she felt before finding it. If cornered, she’ll play the possessed innocent and beg the pack to help her, but it is a ruse. Even though she’s not been claimed for long, she had already accepted the church and its teachings and accepted the spirit of the man who she saw as a savior, healer, and prophet willingly.

Background

Rebecca Casey was a tenured Spanish literature professor with a loving fiance, a nice apartment, and a broad circle of friends when she was diagnosed with AIDS, caught from a bisexual boyfriend five years prior. Over the course of the next five years, her circle of friends disappeared, her boyfriend left her, and she began to die. In desperation, she took the advice of a woman in a support group she attended once during a particularly dark night. She went to the Universal Faith Free Clinic. The skepticism she’d have felt five years earlier was gone and she accepted the church and its teachings and was rewarded. She quickly rose in the ranks, becoming Mother Rebecca and spending all of her spare time at the clinic, helping others. She became obsessed with her health after her symptoms disappeared under Ray’s ministrations and took up jogging and tai chi. When Ray was killed, she was approached by the Plague Prophets to become his successor. As her symptoms had begun to return, she agreed out of fear, and spent a terrible night being broken and tortured with illness to make her an easier vessel. When dawn came, she was no longer Rebecca, but something new.
