Plot

Gideon slips the first of his faux-denarius coins to the druggie homeless boyfriend of the girl his diabolist cult abducted and raped.

Connections

• Gideon is taking advantage of the homeless problem in the city to test out his work and clean up loose ends.

• Robin can't ignore what's happening and has to investigate. His methods and approach are going to put him into conflict with Tolliver, who both wants to run things and is more strict in his interpretation of the Laws of Magic.

• Participants: Rob, Meili, Billy, and a bunch of cops, prisoners, and visitors

• Complications: Roll Lore +1 against a Great (+4) difficulty to notice Billy when he's brought in.

Hospital Swap

• Location: San Francisco General Hospital
• Participants: Billy, Tina, Rob, Meili, lots of medical staff, patients, and family
• Zones: Lobby, ER, Examining Rooms, Nurse's Station, Elevators, Fourth Floor Hallway, Room 422, Stairwell, Bathrooms, Basement Hallway, Morgue
• Complications: Tina takes a hostage on the way out, a little girl, and poisons her before running off. If she runs into Wheeler, she'll compel him to inaction and kick his ass.
• Setup: Drugged-out homeless guy out front smoking singing Spiderman theme, watching Billy climb the side of the hospital, when Daisy arrives.

Preacherman

• Location: Multi-Service Center (South on Fifth Street)
• Participants: Preacherman

Visit from the Summer Lady

• Participants: Rowan, Dierdre, Eva
• Setup: Rowan appears and tells Dierdre that she wants the child once it is born, as repayment of her debt.

The Lair

• Location: Single-Room Occupancy hotel on Sixth Street
• Participants: Tina Yates, Rob Wheeler

• Location: St. Anthony's Soup Kitchen
• Participants: Tim, Daisy, Tolliver, Eva, Tina
