Honored Ancestor is the spirit of the Jin wolf-blooded family.
Description
It appears as a skeletal Dalu with golden eyes in flowing silk robes of yellow and gold.
Storytelling Hints
As with most ancestor spirits, it is primarily concerned with the well-being of the family, but it has a heavy-handed way of guiding it. It routinely possesses wolf-blooded family members in order to communicate its wishes and occasionally just to do what it feels needs to be done. Grandfather Jiang has managed to cut down on this quite a bit in his old age, but it still happens now and then, often to whomever is playing Chinese checkers with the elder (so much so, that the two events have become conflated in family lore as some sort of rite).
