Built atop the old North Point Docks, this coffee house contains a small hope locus centered on the faded wooden figurehead of an old ship (called “Ol’ Bustyâ€) and extending its influence throughout the seating area. The shop is filled with pictures and momentos from Italians who came to San Francisco around the turn of the century and caters to a local clientele. It was built by a member of the Urban Gardeners and has been owned by them ever since.
