Storytelling Hints
The Companion is currently living in the house of an old woman who has two dozen feline companions. It takes good care of her brood and of her and is quite content with the Essence it gleans from them. It is a lazy beast and sees no reason to aspire to higher ambitions.

Background
Once just a normal domesticated cat spirit, Companion got the knack of stealing the souls of the dead from another member of its choir and took to spending time with the elderly. It sees to them, tends their pets, and then takes their souls when they die and moves on to the next. It uses Mortal Mask to appear as one of the host's cats when other spirits or Uratha come sniffing around. It currently operates out of the old Southern Pacific Hospital, which is now senior housing.
