A neighborhood in San Francisco named after the old Mission Dolores. South of Fillmore, east of Castro and Twin Peaks, west of Potrero Hill, and north of Bernal Heights. This was the site of Ohlone indian villages and the latter Spanish Mission. In the history of the city, it was predominately Irish and German but has become increasingly Latino in recent years, though still ethnically diverse.

Shadow

The Mission District is a very diverse area even in Hisil. The buildings and streets exist with varying degrees of solidity and a fair cross-section of the spirit choirs exist, with a preference of artificial and abstract spirits over natural. The sky over the area is guarded by a number of fiercly territorial Helions which attempt to drive off fog, wind, and rain spirits from the hills. A number of wounds exist, hidden away, which are said to date back to the arrival of Spanish missionaries, but others attribute them to gang violence. The Mission itself is more grand in the Shadow and has more of its original lands. Other historical relics are scattered about as well, including a large pond that is the obstinant remains of a body of water last located here around the turn of the century.
