Background

This alley cat was claimed by a Death spirit who happened to be lurking in the vicinity when it died. Since then, the cat’s patchy tabby fur has darkened so that it is now midnight black and it walks the streets at night, searching out sleeping bums and street kids to steal their breath for its Essence. The danger is that it will use its Chain of Death numina to claim one of its human victims when its current host is no longer useful.
