A woman in her late-20s with wild, unkempt, matted blonde hair, blue eyes, and a sallow complexion. Many of her teeth are missing and the rest look bad. She has pockmark scars all over her face and arms and is missing two toes off her left foot. She wears a dirty Oakland A's jersey, blue sweatpants, and hole-ridden sneakers. She has a rolled-up green wool blanket on a guitar strap that she carries over her shoulder and a switchblade she keeps taped to her left forearm. She has feathers tattooed on her arms from the shoulder almost to her wrists (Shadow Wings fetish).

Storytelling Hints

Angel is often overly friendly and generally skittish. She comes across as a lot crazier than she is, because of her auspice, and still reeks of desperation. She tends to her duties because of Papa and tends to slack off when he's not around, though she likes making fetishes and is often seen creating then out of odds and ends or rummaging through dumpsters looking for good material. Angel is deeply attached to God Man, loyal to Papa, and dislikes Sarah both because she chooses to be homeless and she is always riding her to do her jobs.

Background

Angela McCaffrey has been on the streets since she was fourteen, a runaway from an abusive home after three years of rape by her father. She came to San Francisco because the word on the street was it was a good place to be homeless. Within a year she was hooked on heroin and prostituting herself. One summer, she was plagued by odd visions and the drugs she was taking seemed much stronger and more alluring. On the verge of an overdose and hallucinating wildly, she went through her First Change. Afterward, she was terrified, sure she was going insane. Luckily, she found a kindred soul in God Man, whom she knew but had always just taken for insane. As it turns out, he was also like her, but his delusions gave him a context to operate in. They were inseparable for a year and then Papa found the both of them and explained things, taught them, and adopted them into a new pack. In time, she learned from one of Papa's old pack mates how to be a ritemaster and craft fetishes, particularly tattoos. She's reasonably happy with her new life, though sometimes she wishes she could forget her duties and simply feel the euphoria she lives with while on drugs.
