Storytelling Hints

Adam is an arrogant, standoffish man, the archetype of the condescending doctor. He hates the Forsaken, but is cool enough to not let it rule him, and he finds humans to be weak. He secretly things he’ll change, though he is late in life. He has a raging hatred of the Neighborhood Improvement Association for the murder of his wife and the death of the Plague Prophets.

Background

Adam Hellstrom’s life has been devoted to the church. He became a doctor in order to serve their purposes and has spent his life using his skills to cover up the activities of the church. He sees himself as serving greater beings who serve a more honest reality and has degraded living by their standards rather than his. He married Faith out of obligation but the two have a reasonable working relationship. Their children are raised by the church and he feels no particular bond with them. He revels in his skill, both at medicine and deception, and holds nothing but contempt for the weak and broken individuals who go through the clinic. He doesn’t generally assert himself into werewolf affairs, but will if the church is threatened. He lived through the Castro War but doesn’t agree with the rest of his family’s dedication to assassination. He finds it presumptuous and needlessly risky.
