- Everyone eats dinner.
- Tolliver checks his messages. "Grace Cathedral. Ramón. O.S.G." Takes Eva (invisible cat) and is told that the Red Court is mobilizing against the White Council.
- Daisy takes Steven and Evelyn to talk to Abel, he attacks Eve, Steven restrains him and helps Daisy talk him down, he moves on.
- Tolliver and Eva go to the lab in the ruins of Castle Pritchard to make sending stones.
- Daisy prays to God for answers, gets Steven.
- Eva calls to ask Daisy and Grace to come down to the house. She brings Bob as well.
- Discuss Abel's ascension and Kindle's role in everything.
- Come up with travel plans and make seven stones.

- Eva contacts Eshu to find out what she can about the Red Court's plans, learns they are hitting Edinburgh with everything they can muster.
- Tolliver composes a letter in Latin to Aunt Margaret warning her of the pending attack.
- Laelaps is sent to dispense the stones and notes to the Pritchards and Solomon.
- On return, Raul is awake and being fed soup, they drug him up and put him to bed.
- Pull Jed into a planning meeting, he suggests getting to Jamaica so the Rastafarians can fly them to the Ark Sanctuary in Ethiopia.
- Decide to ask Roycroft for help getting a flight to Louisiana, to stay with Eva's family.
- Bob goes outside to call Roycroft, he requests a meeting, they go to the Crab Shack.
- Roycroft offers a plane and a decoy out of Travis Air Force Base near Fairfield (halfway to Sacramento).
- Eva and Daisy start quietly getting people up.
- Tolliver talks to Jasmine and convinces her to come with them.
- Eva sends a note to her grandmother via Laelaps to tell her to expect them.
- Tolliver arranges for transportation to the airfield.
- Tolliver uses the sending stone to talk to Lady Margaret to get news.
- Tolliver sends the wardens to safehouses.
- They do a thaumaturgy to clean out personal relics.
- Evacuate when the vehicles arrive, telling Mia they don't need the penthouse anymore.
- Get to Travis Air Force Base, load the cars, and get in the air. Roycroft takes the decoy on the other plane that will be going to Israel.
- End with a Minor Milestone.
