- Tolliver sends his family a summary of what's going on via bird.
- Aunt Julia gets the same but with a backup source of a mundane courier with a diplomatic pouch.
- Bob and Kaplan want go to find Evelyn (they learn that the pair of them are unscryable) and an argument ensues.
- Finally, Kaplan is convinced to stay and Laelaps and Raul go with Bob.
- Daisy calls Solomon, Tolliver takes the phone away when she gets snarky and tells Solomon to come to the house.
- Junior Wardens holed up nearby, Tolliver gives them the rundown, brings them to the house to have their mental blocks removed.
- Ronald, Linda, and Daniel outside in his van on Lombard, Mark and Katie in his car in parking lot off Telegraph Hill Blvd.
- Solomon brings Mexican for dinner and freaks out when told what's happening.
- Bob, Raul, Laelaps, and Evelyn show up, Laelaps puts the faerie wolves in their place.
- Everyone settles into their rooms:
- Servant Bedroom (Basement): Abigail
- Nursery (First): Grace, Jasmine, babies, wolves
- Guest Bedroom (First): Daisy, Raul, Jed
- Music Room (Second): Tina
- Living Room (Second): Eva, Jean, Jeanette, Solomon, Laelaps, Tolliver
- Master Bedroom (Third): Evelyn, Steven, Kaplan
- Phone call at midnight says to look at the front door. Caleb and an army of Renfields there.
- Vampires materialize from mist form out of the fireplaces.
- Renfields set the house on fire.
- Raul is killed, Grace is badly poisoned, Caleb is staked by Daisy and beheaded by Tolliver.
- Mia shows up and extends Larios' offer of sanctuary.
- Examine Caleb's ward-key and notice the unholy threshold as they pass through it.
- Taken to one of Larios' penthouse apartments.
- End with a Minor Milestone.
