- Eva, Daisy, and Tolliver discuss what to do on the drive back to San Francisco.
- Return to Tolliver's a find an envelope with Perry's hair, they acquire three more from the others (talking Dierdre's landlord out of hers).
- Daisy calls Bo, who is in Tennessee hunting ghouls, he'll make his way up there in a few days.
- Tolliver calls Perry over and sticks him in a chair inside a circle to read a book of Common Rituals.
- Angelina comes to ask them to see Larios, Eva and Tolliver opt to go, Tolliver ends up chatting up Angelina.
- Daisy sends Bo a letter with details for Jed.
- Daisy summons the owner of the tibia, Geraldine "Gerry" Chen, and experiences her torture.
- Dierdre leaves Gideon's after lunch and goes home to write and pack.
- Hedy's dress is delivered at the same time Eva gets back.
- Tolliver talks to Wheeler, is told how to get messages to Stenstrom, sends him:
- "Warden Stenstrom, action by the Imperator is immanant, your presence is needed in San Francisco as soon as possible. It is imperative that you contact me by secure means as soon as humanly possible."
- Daisy and Eva call up Hedy, who tells her that Helge was killed in Oslo and suggests that Dorothy was trying to bring him back.
- Tolliver comes back and they begin to plan. Grace is asked to set up a no-room for the conversation with Deirdre, so it isn't scried through the ring.
- Tolliver calls Gideon and invites him to dinner to talk about Englund.
- Daisy calls Deirdre over, and fills her in on Gideon's past and Nanette.
- They analyze the ring and find the scrying focus and the proxy protection. Tolliver comes up with a way to disarm it.
- Stenstrom calls from Alaska and Tolliver fills him in.
- Dinner with Gideon: talk about Englund, Dierdre soul-gazes him, jump him and he escapes. Run through restaurant (Eva as cat, Deirdre with sword).
- Tolliver calls Wheeler and Grace and sets them on saving the children. He also calls Solomon with a warning and Deirdre sends her mother to Tolliver's house.
- Daisy drives like a demon to get them to Dorothy's house, she's senile, they find his old sanctum in a cave under the basement.
- Eva tries to divine Gideon with Dorothy's hair and gets a mental backlash.
- Daisy sends the kids he got executed to find him. When she summons the mother, it reveals itself as a Luciferean and goes after the other ghosts. She also sends Gerry.
- Tolliver checks in on Wheeler and Grace through divination.
- Deirdre sells her unborn child to Rowan to save the children (the maternity ward at SFGH) and protection for her mother.
- Daisy brings down the wards and puts up a "tag" non-ward.
- Call up Erebus and Daisy destroys him permanently with the Seal of Solomon.
- Grace astrally projects in to tell them that Dr. Lazarus is trying to revive the children killed by Erebus before the pixies drove him off.
- Deirdre heads outside to find a place to cross to the Nevernever and finds Dorothy's corpse. Daisy determines her soul was ripped out to power a spell.
Sat Jan 8, 2011
- Daisy stays with Dorothy's body and calls the cops.
- The rest go to Tolliver's house and find a very tired Wheeler and Grace.
- Grace is having trouble getting back in her body, Tolliver looks after her.
- Deirdre takes Wheeler to the Nevernever and he divines for Belial and Azazel, but can't find him.
- The reconstruction artist delivers a Mediocre (+0) picture of Gideon/Helge.
- Perry points out that Denarians can't be tracked by their identity when joined.
- Daisy calls up Gerry who leads them to Kindle mansion, find the staff crucified in the basement, Daisy destroys the Kemmler texts and sanctifies the Demonology library.
- Dierdre storms out and goes home to bed.
- Rob orders Daisy not to burn the house down, she storms off and kicks Tolliver's car.
- Tolliver goes through the library and removes the common ritual books.
- Stenstrom shows up, chats with Daisy, and sits on the books so that the White Council archivist can take them.
- Daisy walks home, Wheeler stays with Stenstrom and Tolliver and Eva head back to his house.
- End with a Minor Milestone.
