Background
Damon Craig was a cop in 1950s Detroit who had a deep and abiding love for Christmas. He would always work extra hours during the holiday season, ensuring that everyone's Christmas was safe and peaceful, and spread hope and good cheer among those he knew. Santa noticed his diligence. When he interrupted a Christmas Eve burglary and was fatally shot, Santa offered him the chance to continue his good work. He has been Santa's troubleshooter ever since, dealing with any supernatural threat that might mar Christmas.
