This neighborhood was once warehouses and is now known for its art galleries and nightclubs. It is located south of Market (hence the name), west of South Beach, north of Mission Bay, and east of the civic center.

Shadow

The Earthquake and Fire of 1906 is still a scar on this neighborhood with the spirits of long destroyed buildings in place instead of the shadows of warehouses and powerful spirits of fire, fear, and destruction roaming the streets, looking for prey. Spirits of lust and joy spawned by the new character of the neighborhood hide in the buildings which house the art galleries, fetish clubs, and nightclubs which spawned them. The only spirits challenging the Fire's brood are the computer and data spirits, which are fast and powerful despite their relative youth, and the predation between the two groups has produced some startling magath.
