Children of Olorun (Voudoun) Santeria, based out of Mission in San Francisco. Second oldest cabal in the city, originally voodoo under Mary Pleasant but now more Santeria with Momma Bamba’s ascension in the 1970s. Always focused on supporting the poor and disenfranchised, though its means have sometimes been criminal. Theme: Community, fellowship, and a sense of tradition. Oblations: Improving the community, helping the unfortunate, honoring the orisha.
