Inhabitants

The residents of the March are a rugged sort, used to the harsh and unpredictable environment brought by such close proximity to the Void. While they tend to live short, eventful lives, they are also the most prolific citizens of the See and the lands they inhabit tend to be similarly abundant with life, even if it is often dangerous. They are a subsistence culture, trading rarely with the merchants who venture here from either the See or the Wasteland, which has given them a strong sense of self-reliance but also a firm communal duty.

The Desert

East. Dry, sandy expanse with small oasis villages of Outlands practicing small scale agriculture and hunting.

The Jungle

Southwest. Dense, hot jungles with small villages of Outlanders living primarily off of hunting and small scale agriculture.

The Mountains

Northeast. Frozen inhospitable peaks dotted with the villages of Outlanders who manage an existence hunting or herding sheep and goats.

The Ocean

North. Iceberg-strewn waters with the occasional small island with an Outland fishing village.

The Swamp

South. Marshy wetlands with small villages raising waterfowl, fishing, and practicing subsistence agriculture.

The Taiga

Northwest. Cold, sparse coniferous forests with small villages of Outlanders herding reindeer and hunting seals and walruses at the ocean's edge.
