Description
Hishu
A large, burly Caucasian man in his mid-50s with salt-and-pepper hair and full beard, blue eyes, and weathered skin. He is missing part of his left ear and has numerous scars, particularly on his hands. He wears blue and green flannel shirts, sturdy brown canvas pants, and heavy steel-toed boots. He wears a brown oilskin coat and a cap with the logo of the "Phalanx" on it. He always has a pair of heavy leather gloves handy.
Urhan
A large salt-and-pepper wolf with blue eyes and a nicked left ear.
Storytelling Hints
Stig is a down-to-earth and dedicated man who gets all the satisfaction he needs out of life by working hard and fulfilling his obligations and duties. He loves his family, respects his totems, and has a deep and abiding love of the sea and of fishing. He had no vices or bad habits and is derisive of anyone who shirks their responsibilities or indulges in distractions. He has a raunchy and dry sense of humor which only comes out around family and friends.

Background
Stig was born a fisherman in a long line of fishermen who, unknown to him until his First Change, was also a long line of Storm Lords dedicated to the Lodge of the Maelstrom going back to its founder. His respect and honor for his family and their traditions led him to follow and he's never regretted the decision. He feels strongly, as most of the lodge does, that the sea is too often ignored by the Uratha and diligently does his duty patrolling it. He came to the West Coast as a young man to fill a void noticed by the lodge. He spent years working out of Seattle but moved south following trends in the spiritual activity of the sea. He has raised a family in these same traditions and been blessed with the First Change of two of his three children. His youngest daughter, Karoline, was recently raped by a Brineborn and was highly traumatized by the event. He is currently hunting down the creatures, whom he is only vaguely familiar with and it has become something of a consuming obsession. His daughter is still in a psychiatric ward, partially catatonic, and he visits her every time he is on land but never stays long enough to violate his pack totem's ban.
Renown
