Description

An obese Caucasian man in his late 40s with thinning brown hair, brown eyes, and a ruddy complexion. He uses a motorized wheelchair and wears flannel shirts and denim shorts. He wears his wedding ring at all times.

Reserved, soft-spoken, but with a wry sense of humor. He is very unhappy with his physical condition but is now working to overcome his limitations, with Summer's help. He is losing weight and gaining muscle tone, but it is slow going.

Background

Bryce was a successful computer security consultant with a wife and two daughters before the accident. He was fit and athletic and the family took frequent camping holidays whenever his schedule permitted. It was on one of these trips in Colorado that a large hairy humanoid form darted in front of his car and he ran off the road. The car rolled and came to rest at the bottom of an incline. He was pinned, his legs crushed, and the rest of his family was mortally injured. He was trapped in the car for hours while the other members of his family died from their injuries. When the car was seen by a park ranger, they were only able to remove him by amputating both of his legs. Afterwards, he received a large insurance payment and a settlement from the parks department. He eventually quit his job after his medical leave expired and lived off of his savings. Wracked by survivor's guilt, in constant chronic pain, and obsessed with the events of that night, he purchased the Occult Sightings Network from its former owner in Oregon. He spent most of his waking hours talking to people on the boards and doing the administrative work on the site. When he stumbled on evidence of the pack, he was approached by Summer, who listened to him, seduced him, and got his life in order. He has since sold his house and moved into the Pink Elephant Commune, after removing the evidence against the pack.
