1930s, difficult times, family money lost in stock market crash. History of mental illness (?) and sporadic magical talent. Attic room, bed with restraints, last used in the 50s. Teresa's spirit lingers with the family, tormenting those who show magical talent.
Magical Talents
Teresa Bell (d 1922) - turned into a poltergeist, haunts members of the family with magical talent. Eustace Barnes (nee Bell) (1889-1971) - youngest daughter of Thomas and Teresa Bell, untrained magical talent. Nancy Barnes (b 1936-1991), Daniel and James' aunt, lobotomized in 1951 and institutionalized, last resident of secret room. James, 60 year old (b 1950), Daniel's older brother, institutionalized in 1966 on anti-psychotics. Jennifer (1973-1987), Jason's sister, committed suicide, used ouija board to contact Teresa, diary hidden in attic.
